We are proud to announce the publication of our 2026 Sustainability Report. This document represents a fundamental tool for us to share our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance with all our stakeholders in complete transparency. Furthermore, starting with this edition, the document has been drafted in compliance with the new European VSME (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for non-listed SMEs) standard, confirming our structured and responsible approach.
This is a significant milestone, also highlighted by Andrea Argentin, Corporate QHSE & Sustainability Director at Palladio Group: “The Palladio Group’s 2026 Sustainability Report represents a moment of transformation towards the VSME reporting standard, whilst confirming our commitment to sharing our sustainability journey with details and figures.”
Throughout 2025, we navigated a macroeconomic landscape undergoing profound transformation, while keeping our vision steadfast: to accelerate our journey of environmental and social improvement, translating it into concrete and tangible actions. The 2026 Sustainability Report illustrates not only our daily commitment to ethical business practices but also certifies the progress achieved in making the pharmaceutical packaging supply chain increasingly virtuous, resilient, and mindful of people.
Among the main milestones and initiatives that have characterised this past year are:
– Climate action and decarbonisation: in 2025, we completed the submission of our emission reduction targets, officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). This achievement confirms the alignment of our climate strategy with the 1.5°C global warming containment scenario set out by the Paris Agreement. We also purchased 12,157 MWh of electricity from renewable sources, whilst simultaneously boosting self-production from photovoltaics to reach 2,247 MWh.
– Responsible supply chain: we have continued to promote high ethical standards throughout the supply chain, evaluating 100% of new suppliers added to the Vendor List according to specific Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) criteria. Furthermore, to strengthen synergies with our commercial partners, we launched the Palladio Suppliers Engagement Programme, a strategic initiative aimed at actively involving the supply chain in our corporate decarbonisation plan.
– People, inclusion, and community: the well-being and growth of our team remain at the heart of our strategy, with 14,208 hours of training provided during the year. An achievement we are particularly proud of is obtaining the Gender Equality Certification (UNI/PdR 125:2022) for our Italian sites. We have also reaffirmed our active support for the local community, launching corporate volunteering activities and collaborating with organisations such as Dynamo Camp and I Bambini delle Fate.
– Innovation and eco-design: guided by our Innovation Hub, we have expanded our range of renewable alternatives to plastic, such as tamper-evident cartonboard systems and moulded paper inner trays. Our commitment to cutting-edge design was also recognised internationally with a WorldStar Award 2025 for the Multipack Handle® label.
